In the summer of 2024, the russian army attacked Bohodukhiv, Kharkiv region, with cluster munitions.  15-year-old Daniel Kulyk and his mother were at home at the time. He recalls how worried they were about his older brother, who was outside at the time of the attack. They were trying to look through the window to see where the shells had landed when another shelling sounded and shell fragments flew into the apartment. One of the fragments went through the teenager’s arm twice. Daniil was wounded and still feels the consequences of his injury. The Rinat Akhmetov Foundation provided the boy with a course of physical and psychological rehabilitation in a sanatorium in Transcarpattia, where he told his war story.
