Nadiia lived under occupation for eight months after her home village of Tomaryne was captured by russian troops on the first day of the full-scale war. At first they arranged a shell depot in her house, but later she managed to return home. She was nearly killed when a shell hit her yard. And after almost half a year of shelling she decided to leave.
