Oleksandr and his family spent two weeks in their own basement in a house in Brovary. He tried to protect his family from the russian invasion. The children were trying to sleep to the sounds of constant explosions. Oleksandr also helped the Ukrainian military at checkpoints. For a while, the family moved to their friends' place, but returned to their hometown as soon as the Ukrainian Armed Forces drove the russians away.
