A powerful explosion occurred in the center of Kyiv on October 10, 2022. The destructive blast wave shattered the ancient windows of the National Museum of Natural History. The staff and exhibits were miraculously unharmed. The museum has about two million museum pieces. It is one of the largest European museums of its kind. Oksana Chervonenko, the museum’s deputy director, told us how the museum lives during the war.
