My son Mykyta has been in the intensive care unit for several days. He came under fire when he was in Makiivka. The lung, trachea, esophagus, as well as hands, were wounded by fragments. Son only went out into the courtyard from the basement for a few minutes when the shelling subsided. And then a shell fell in the garden.
The iron door        was torn off of its hinges by a blast wave. They flew a few meters and crushed Son. When my husband and I ran out, Son was lying against the wall of the house. He was not breathing. His heart stopped.
