Liliya Barvynska

"What is the most terrible thing: when my husband's sister with a child died, when a dog was killed, when my husband died?"

Liliia's story is a story of loss. The war cut off everything that was her life, piece by piece. She had to look for, among the corpses, her daughter and son-in-law, to walk under fire, and to loot. To save herself and her husband who does not walk. To lose loved ones one by one. To survive the burns, finally, to be left alone in a hungry, torn city. And yet to get out of there to a new life.
