It is utter darkness, and it is unclear what lies ahead of us

Last year, I was left alone with a three – year-old child in my arms. My husband died of a serious illness. I work as a shop assistant. The salary is minimal. The last money from the "thriftbox" were spent to buy medication to her husband, which was unsuccessful. I do not understand how you can live and raise a child on my dirt-cheap salary if no one helps you.

When you are alone in the world, you have no one to rely on, only your own strength. I am alone. My son has no grandparents, and we can't expect any help.

The money we earn run out quickly, it is not enough even to buy the basic things.

When we received help from charitable organizations, it was, of course, easier — we no longer had to spend money on sugar, butter, cereals, canned food, etc. I even managed to buy an extra piece of candy or fruit for Andrii. It is utter darkness, and it is unclear what lies ahead of us.
