Dmytro is the head of a department at a thermal power plant. At first, he worked in Luhansk region, but had to leave there in 2022 due to the complete shutdown of the plant as a result of hostilities. They arrived in Kharkiv and on March 9, near his parents' house, they were hit by four air strikes. They left the place by an evacuation train. The company offered Dmytro a new job, also at a thermal power plant. Over the past 15 months, Russia has fired missiles at the plant seven times.
