“Russia has taken a set of actions against me that have never been taken against any Ukrainian”

Journalist Dmytro Gordon tells his personal story of the war, how he did not believe in a full-scale Russian attack until the last moment and woke up on February 24 to the sound of explosions. He says that he refused to leave Ukraine on principle and recorded his first video 15 minutes after the attack, followed by many more. Four criminal cases were opened against the journalist in russia for his pro-Ukrainian activities, he was convicted in absentia in three of them, and he was put on the wanted list twice. He was declared a foreign agent. Dmytro believes in victory, in the strength of the Ukrainian spirit, in the triumph of light over darkness.
