Oleksandr was in Kyiv on February 24, 2022. He did not go anywhere. He remembers how the problems with food had already begun, and he had to wait for hours for bread. But it was the most delicious bread in his life. After the enemy withdrew from the city, there was a rocket attack which almost hit Oleksandr's home. At first, it was not even clear whether his house was intact. Since then, any loud sounds frighten the man's parents. Oleksandr teaches at school, tells his students about the war.
