"Relatives in Hostomel were brought out from the cellar at gunpoint"

Alina faced the full-scale russian invasion with her children at home in the Kyiv region. Most of all, she was worried about her relatives who were in Hostomel. There was no communication with them for a long time. Then, fierce intermittent battles for the Hostomel airport went on until February 27. She managed to contact her relatives only after the city had been liberated by the Ukrainian military.
