After the start of hostilities in Mariupol, Vaahn MNATSAKANIAN was engaged in organising mass burials of people who died in the streets and in their flats due to Russian shelling. For this purpose, long trenches were dug on the territory of the city, into which identified and unidentified bodies were brought. Later, a man himself received a shrapnel wound and miraculously survived.
