A pass to the work place and a discount card from Plasticine children’s shopping and entertainment centre in Donetsk. Olena Makaya handed them over to the Museum of Civilian Voices because she will not be able either to go to her work in Donelektroavtotrans or to visit the children’s centre with her kids.
In 2014, Olena and her family, like thousands of Donetsk residents, became displaced persons and they now live in Zaporizhzhya. And she decided to leave the pass and the discount card, which she kept for her own memories, for the memory of millions of people. As a symbol of life "BEFORE"...
