He was a sensitive son, brother, father, friend, excellent athlete, master of sports, multiple champion of Ukraine in the team "Illichivets" and captain of the national team of Ukraine. Prior to the full-scale invasion, Yevhen was battling brain cancer, but he did not lose his cheerfulness for a moment.
"He never gave up, he never complained about life, no matter how hard it was for him. He always had one answer, “Don't worry, Dad, I'll handle it," – wrote Yevhen's father and coach Oleksandr Obedinsky.
