Sofiia was supposed to be going to school, but on that terrible day for all Ukrainians, 24 February 2022, she had to hide from the explosions in her native Kramatorsk. In the spring, her family sent her to Truskavets, as far away from the war as possible. Then, the family moved to Dnipro. Sofiia witnessed an attack on the city and nearly injured herself. The girl had to consult a psychologist to cope with the stress she experienced.
