Olha is a well-known artist and an art therapy instructor. The war changed her art, it taught her to paint on shell casings. She painted the walls of a school bomb shelter for children, donated her works to charity auctions.
Now Olha helps displaced people through art therapy. Together they not only paint, but also release themselves from tension and heavy experiences connected with the war. "To paint for me is like to breathe," says the artist about what sustains her and gives her the motivation to move forward.
