Oleksandr from Hostomel says that he refused to believe that something like this could happen in the 21st century. He says the occupation of his native village was terrible. Russians ruthlessly shot people, destroyed their homes, robbed them, and tortured them. So the locals even started to engage in guerrilla warfare so that the invaders would leave the Ukrainian land in disgrace.
