She delivered diapers and food across burning Mariupol and took newborns from a bombed-out maternity hospital. Hanna is the head of a social assistance centre where elderly Mariupol residents came to find shelter. She could not go to her family and leave these people behind. For almost a month, Hanna Kamarali helped a large number of people survive. She saw examples of fearlessness and generosity and horrific deaths. Now she continues to help the Azov people in Odesa.
