Serhii took part in all democratic Maidans in Kyiv, and he understands well that the war with Russia didn’t begin in 2014, but much earlier. In September 2022, 63-year-old Serhii joined the First Volunteer Mobile Hospital. He evacuated the wounded and saw so much horror that he will remember it for the rest of his life. Later, he trained as a psychologist and now helps soldiers adapt to civilian life.
