At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Sofiia and her family left Kyiv for the region to live with her aunt. Later, Sofia went abroad for a year and a half. She had constant feelings of guilt and self-loathing that she was far away and not with her family. She kept going home and later decided to return to reconcile with herself.
