In August 2024, the Social Protection Department of the Myrnohrad City Council was forced to evacuate to Dnipro due to the ongoing war. A month later, a public space called “With Myrnohrad in Our Hearts” was established at the Department's headquarters to support displaced persons. Before the full-scale invasion, Myrnohrad had a population of around 50,000, and several thousand residents relocated to Dnipro. This space has become an essential hub for assisting those who have been forced to leave their homes.  Svitlana Vostrykova, the Head of the Department and the hub, discusses the centre's activities. This interview took place during the distribution of humanitarian aid from the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation.
