Nina has cancer and her son is a second-group disabled person. It was very difficult for the family to live in Severodonetsk after the full-scale invasion began, when the Russians destroyed the city by 80% in the first month. They bombed day and night. Water, electricity and gas were cut off. Pharmacies and shops were closed. And the lines for humanitarian aid were shelled. There were dead and wounded. We left the city under fire. The family lived in Donetsk region for a year, and then moved to Kyiv. Now they work as volunteers, weaving nets for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
