Olha is the mother of Mykhailo “Chupa” Chuprinа. In 2015, they left Luhansk region for Sumy. Her son had a firm pro-Ukrainian stance and continued speaking Ukrainian even in the occupied city. In April 2015, he joined the Azov battalion. He rose to the position of tank company commander and was killed defending Mariupol. His mother still talks to him as if he were alive.
