My son, seven-year-old Misha, recently withstood surgery. Doctors removed a one centimeter-long fragment from his head. Son was wounded in late August 2015 during the shelling of Marinka. We don't know what kind of shell it was, but it fell in the neighbor's yard. A fragment hit my son's head.
He was saved first by doctors in Kurakhove, then by specialists from the hospital in Zaporizhzhia. A fragment damaged the skull, but did not reach the meninx, so the son's life is not in danger.
