We live on the line of demarcation. Firefights don't cease day or night. It is dangerous to be even in our own yard.

Shell fragments wounded my husband and concussed my daughter”

We have recently experienced a real horror. There was a lull – and the whole family went out to work in the garden. The first arrival of the projectile hit our toilet. Shards, of course, flew into the courtyard.

My husband was injured, and doctors could not remove the splinter from his leg. It was scared that after this he would not be able to walk. And the daughter Karina was concussed.

We decided not to seek help, but she was hospitalized a few days later. Karina couldn't stand the headaches anymore.

Now my daughter is trying to catch up with the school program, but she does not always attend classes. Sometimes teachers call in the morning and say that the shelling has started and kids cannot go to school.
