In the time of peace, I grew vegetables in the garden. That was what I got by on. Things were normal, calm. We grew everything we could: cucumbers, tomatoes, cabbage, strawberries. We sold it all to Luhansk. When the war came, seven shells hit my garden. The ground trembled as they fired…

The line of demarcation is five hundred meters ahead. Well, farming had to wait - I didn't have time for cabbage. We have probably had shell fires almost every house during all this time. Everything around may not have been destroyed completely, but it was definately damaged. Enterprises were closed, railway employees have no work now. No one dares to repair our greenhouses -vegetable growing is no longer profitable.

The only joy is when you do not hear the shooting. We could just relax and enjoy life on these days.
