At the beginning of the war, Kateryna was the head of the employment center of Pavlohrad-Vuhillia, which employed 27 thousand people. As the head, she faced many challenges. Four thousand workers went to war as mobilized. They were to be replaced by IDPs from Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Kateryna's center employed almost two thousand IDPs, providing them not only with work, but also with free housing, humanitarian aid and everything they needed.
