On February 24, 2022, russians struck the city and the outskirts of Vasylkiv. The invaders had a plan of landing paratroopers and encircling the capital. Oleksandr Buksha witnessed the landing of enemy's invasion troops on the outskirts of the city. The battles took place there.
Oleksandr works as Deputy General Director for Economic Affairs at a city hospital. So from the first days, he was arranging the activities of the medical facility during wartime. He was in charge of humanitarian issues and the safety of the medical staff. A mini-headquarters was set up on the hospital territory, where not only patients and the wounded, but also all those in need could receive help.
