Stanislav Buravskyi is the artistic director of the choral group Nadvechirya (“Evening Time”). He calls himself the “father” of the ensemble — because he was the one who founded it in 2004 after the disbandment of a factory choir. And the song — did not disappear. It was preserved by those who still had the strength and desire to sing. The ensemble was born out of evening gatherings “for the soul”: they drank tea, they sang. And then — the stage. Rehearsals. Out-of-town concerts. Support for Ukrainian soldiers.
Stanislav tells how the war caught him with a bayan in his hands — during the celebration of the 70th birthday of a choir member. In addition to Nadvechirya, Stanislav also looks after several other groups. He prepares repertoires, performs in communities. The groups under his direction take part in charity concerts that raise funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
