“Our city has become friendlier and more tight-knit”

I am from Horlivka – a small town in Donbass. It is a town where I always felt  comfortable and warm. Even now, despite the situation at hand in Donbass, I cannot give away my love and value my land with all my soul.

My life has changed a lot in these five years. Even getting to the towns nearby became problematic. No matter how odd it might seem, our city has become friendlier and more united.

Like all Donbass children and adults, I dream of peaceful skies above our heads.

I want to bring back the time when all nations were friendly and treated each other fairly and positively. I believe with all my heart that my dream is feasible.
