"Shells flew right above our heads"

I almost died last year. I decided to go to the store with my friends. While we were walking, shells flew right above our heads.

My native village was being destroyed before my eyes, and I thought that this was the end.

I survived, but I felt bad after that. The first signs of the disease began to appear while playing the piano – the hands were taken away. I had a bad headache. A few months later, doctors diagnosed multiple sclerosis. As far as I know, this disease is not curable.

Now I need to regularly take expensive medications that delay the development of the disease.
