The poet Svitlana Fomenko met the full-scale invasion in the village with the symbolic name of Vilne, near Volnovakha in Donetsk region. The first explosions and the almost imminent threat of occupation convinced her to leave immediately. Svitlana, her husband and daughter, and her sister with her children and husband left for Poltava on 5 March 2022. A few days later, they lost connection in Vilne, and the village was occupied.
