"My children's childhood has been tested too many times"

I have four children, and I raise them alone. We have no work in the village, so we have to save on everything. The oven, for example, is heated with putamen instead of coal and firewood. I crack nuts for a living.

My husband died three years ago, and I have to raise four boys on my own, which is already difficult. The children were changed by the armed hostilites. After hiding in the basement from the attacks, three-year-old Nikita got a fright, and Dima became very nervous.

I remember with horror how we were left without social benefits. We didn't even have temporary jobs. I didn't know what to do. We didn't even have any potatoes left. Humanitarian aid was the only thing that saved us. I try to pamper my sons whenever I can. They have already suffered enough in their childhood years.
