“On 2 March, at 05:25, my husband shouted, “Get down!” At that moment, the windows shattered, and a Grad MLRS shell landed,” recalls Yuliya, a resident of Mariupol. At 15:00, another Grad shelling happened, and she was down on the floor again. There was no electricity and no water. For three days in a row, they ran down to the basement, taking their cat with them.
From 4 to 5 March, they spent the last night in their flat. A fighter jet flew very low above them. Bombs fell in the area of the railway station. They decided to leave and move over to a bomb shelter at Azovstal plant.
