Natalia Nikolaichuk is a people's artist of Ukraine who has been serving art and education for many years. In 1995, she headed the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Kyiv Children's Academy of Arts, where she brought up a whole galaxy of contemporary Ukrainian artists. Her sensitivity to the pulse of time echoed in the canvases with a premonition of war long before it began. Now she creates works on shell casings, transforming instruments of death into symbols of good prayer and rebirth.

Natalia is convinced that art is a powerful healing tool, and her art therapy work with veterans only confirms this. The creative impulse, once paralyzed by war, is once again breaking through the colours. And these colours are a premonition of the victory of Ukraine.
