"We, as volunteers, stayed at the train station and lived there for several months"

Sofiia is one of those who, from the first days of the full-scale war, decided not to stand aside and began volunteering. At first, she evacuated acquaintances, bought everything necessary, and returned to Kyiv. There, she settled in a volunteer space at the Kyiv train station, where for more than two months she poured tea, fed soldiers, and helped evacuees. Sofiia is inspired by the people around her: friends who are fighting and those who help. Together with director Oleksii Samsonov, she is filming a documentary, The Current of War, about human resilience.
