Tetiana was leaving Mariupol with her husband, two-year-old son, brother and parents on March 16, 2022. The family had already passed Vasylivka when they came under mortar fire. All of them, except for the mother, were seriously injured.

The vehicle burned down. "The Russians targeted the humanitarian convoy. Miraculously, one car stopped, there was only one seat. My father and son were taken away, they were all bleeding. Later, in the hospital, I received 6 litres of blood, and my husband even more. It was a miracle we survived," recalls a resident of Mariupol, Tetiana.
