Nataliia faced the full-scale invasion in her home with her 93-year-old mother, daughter and two young grandchildren. She remembers the first day of the war: sitting on the sofa, she saw a plane in the sky and realised that something terrible was coming. Later, the explosions started. The occupation lasted almost a year. Nataliia did not leave the yard, only sometimes she went to the store. When enemy planes flew over the houses, the ground shook from the explosions, Nataliia’s family hid and prayed.
