Maryna Ivanova has created the country's largest museum of old costumes. Her family has been collecting for over 35 years. Marina founded the Museum of the History of Fashion, which houses more than 350 original exhibits. These are secular costumes from different centuries, mostly for women. There are also hats, shoes, and handbags. The museum is listed in the Guinness Book of Records of Ukraine as the largest private collection of costumes.
Since the beginning of the war, the museum has not stopped its exhibition activities. Unfortunately, some of the exhibits were damaged by shelling. For almost a month, the museum team restored the old costumes, but some of the items were not restored to their original appearance.
