Serhii Sokolov, a resident of Lysychansk in the Luhansk region, witnessed horrific events. In 2022, when the shelling became unbearable, he decided to leave his hometown. "We were concussed because there were powerful explosions; at any moment, we could have been killed," Serhii describes the atmosphere that prevailed in Lysychansk at the time. On March 4, when a shell hit a neighboring house, Serhii and his family realized: the next one would strike their home, so they left for a short time. That decision saved their lives. During the next shelling, their home burned down completely. "There is no house, everything burned down," says the displaced person. Since then, the Sokolov family has been living in Dnipro.
