On February 24, Kateryna woke up at five in the morning to the sound of an air raid siren. Her husband was helping people evacuate from Mykolaiv, and she became the head of the press service of the military administration, staying overnight at the Kyiv City State Administration starting February 27. She will always remember the empty Kyiv and the post-apocalyptic feeling. Now Kateryna is engaged in preserving and honoring the memory of the fallen.
