Milena Savchuk is a student of the Faculty of architecture in the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture. While still at school, she decided to combine her passion for mathematics and physics with creativity — and chose architecture. Today, together with her classmates, Milena is working on projects for a peaceful future: recreation areas in parks, places for rescuers, security guards, as well as checkpoints for Kyiv. Personally, she develops the concept of a checkpoint adapted for the military and people with disabilities. After the war, Milena says, it is especially important to take into account the new reality in architecture. "We are preparing to rebuild our country. Make it better, newer. Add a new story to it," says the student.
