My friend is evacuating his grandmother from a flooded house in Nova Kahоvka

New page from the diary - Kherson, June 6, 2023. Dam explosion. My friend Ruslan is evacuating his grandmother Maria Vasilievna from a flooded house in Nova Kahovka, where I once spent two wonderful summers in a past life. Grandma does not walk well on her own, but she is lucky that the bed was high enough. The house was old and collapsed in less than a day. I read in the news that all of the animals of the local zoo drowned , except the swans, and also, I guess , all the dogs sitting on the chain, and I also know that most of the animals of the nursery known to me remained in their cages forever, and probably we are dealing with a brewing environmental disaster, but who thinks about it when dams take off into the air, in the name of someone’s ideals, peace and prosperity, right?
