"We thought they were just trucks"

It all started when I was walking outside with a friend. At first, we heard quiet riddling sound. We thought they were just trucks. 20 minutes later, we heard loud riddling sound. The windows shattered in the porches of the [building], and the car alarms went off. We got very scared, so we ran home.

My mother packed up quickly, she called our relatives who lived nearby. We left our city [Donetsk] the same very day. We went to the seaside and stayed there for about two weeks.

Then we went to different places and villages where our relatives lived. We arrived in Kramatorsk on 14 August and have been living there for five years.
