"My husband and their father left us three years ago, in the midst of the armed hostilities"

We live on one of the most bombarded streets of Hranitne. I have two daughters, and the eldest, Uliana, is still not used to the military situation. She often cries because she is afraid. Since I am a mother, it hurts me worse than shrapnel. What is there left to do?

Daughter saw it with her own eyes how three shells exploded near the house, smashing the wall. She was very afraid at that moment. Now she is even scared of cars.

Our yard is ruined, only the garage door has survived. A shell hit the roof of a neighbour's house – the house burned down completely.

Now I raise my daughters alone. My husband and their father left us three years ago, in the midst of the armed hostilities. We lack male support for small children.

We live on social security benefits, so every penny counts. We write a list of the most necessary things when we go shopping, but there is not always enough for sweets, so we have to save money. However, we do not despair!
