“My biggest fear is to hear explosions.”

My story concerns my greatest fear.

When I was born in Donetsk, everything was fine there.    But then the war between Russia and Ukraine broke out.

Back at that time we lived near the airport. There was a landing near our house. Even now I remember the sounds, when mum and dad cried.    I remember how my mother would wrap us in blankets and hid us in the cellar.

My biggest fear is to hear explosions.
