Polina Kazantseva

“We were in the direction, where all the planes and missiles were coming from”

Polina Mykolaivna did not believe until the last moment that russia had attacked Ukraine so brutally and brazenly. With the first air attacks, she had to seek shelter and set up in the basement. She slept fully clothed to be ready to escape from the shelter at any moment. The woman lived in such conditions for 2 weeks. She was most shocked by the number of civilian casualties and the fact that they had to be buried in the yards of high-rise buildings.
