Оlexander Chekunov

"We were not afraid of mortars, Grad rockets or tanks. We were afraid when the plane was flying"

The house and yard where Oleksandra, her husband and son lived are among the few that survived the Russian invasion of Mariupol.

Returning there is the Chekunov family's greatest wish. But only after the victory and de-occupation. Oleksandra's story tells about what they went through in the first weeks of the war and how they managed to escape the city.
