“We heard explosions, went down to the basement and hid in the subway”

On February 24, 2022, Tymofii’s normal life came to an end. School and sports were canceled. Enemy planes started flying and explosions were heard in the city. Because of the russian shelling, Tymofii’s family hid in the basement. Several times they had to spend the night in the subway. The boy’s relatives came under occupation in Kharkiv region. It was difficult for them to leave for the territory controlled by Ukraine literally at gunpoint.
