Director of the Mariupol College, Anton Bilai, was the first Ukrainian who rescued two of his pupils from the uncontrolled territory. They got separated during the bombing of Mariupol. And in May 2022, Anton reached Donetsk through Poland, the Baltic states and the territory of Russia in order to return orphan students, Ivan Matkovskyi and Maxim Boiko, to Ukraine. That was the unique case when a request to see the director of the college was accepted by students with tears of happiness in their eyes.
